Course Goals and Achievements
I took this class to expand my knowledge in digital photography and to learn more about something that I am interested in and want to improve on. Overall, my goal was to learn about the fundamentals when it comes to photography and apply them to my life. From this course, I hoped to improve my Twitch stream by learning about camera angles, lighting, background, focus, etc. I also hoped to learn how to take higher quality photos using my iPhone 14 Pro Max’s cameras. Lastly, I hoped to learn about the affect photography has on the world and how it affects views and opinions in society. Over the course of taking this class, I can confidently say I learned a lot about what photography really is and how to make meaningful photos through learning about different artistic styles. I now think more creatively when deciding how and where to take pictures. I now take into account things like what a viewer would think, specific lighting, and other things like angles and perspective. This course taught me what it takes to become an artist in photography and what makes a photo meaningful in today’s society. I will continue to create more meaningful images that serve a purpose.
